SALON EMOTION SEMINAR FOR DAVID’S SALON MANAGERS

Salon Managers of different David’s Salon branches across the Philippines were given the L’oreal Salon Emotion seminar. A total of 99 salon managers from the SM Group and company-owned branches were trained during the 5 days which the seminar was conducted – August 20, 22, 27, 29, and September 5. It focused on empowering managers with the correct tools and mindset to create not just an atmosphere that is best for everyone inside the salon, but also create deeper and more meaningful connections with clients and staff.

The seminar was conducted in two parts. The morning session was the seminar by Mr. Percy Limbo, National Sales Manager of L’oreal Professionnel Philippines. In the afternoon was a forum, where salon managers discussed the current issues that salons are facing, and talked about how they could apply the different concepts they learned in their respective branches.

Salon Emotion is a L’oreal program that was created in the brand’s Paris headquarters. Limbo was the Philippine representative to undergo this training in China, and David’s Salon is the first in Asia Pacific region to conduct this seminar for salon managers. “Every year we try to come up with seminars for the salon staff,” says Ms. Malou Flores, David’s Salon Vice President of Human Resources, who spearheaded this project. “Before we had seminars on how they work with each other, inside the salon. Now we want to focus on customer service,” she adds. There are plans to continue this training for salon managers of franchised and partner-owned branches, with new batches to be arranged for October 2019.
